It was Banjong's first romantic film, which was inspired by the book Two Shadows in Korea (Thai: สองเงาในเกาหลี, Song Ngao Nai Kao Li) by Songkalot Bangyikhun (Thai: ทรงกลด บางยี่ขัน).
